Zeitraum Pelle Chair

With a sales blurb which describes it as a 'homage to Scandinavian classics', how could we pass over this Zeitraum Pelle chair? 

Zeitraum have cropped up on Retro To Go a few times for their unusual reinterpretations of mid century style and this chair is no exception. The shape is reminiscent of classic Hans J. Wegner designs, with a solid beech frame. A nice twist to the style comes with the seat - it's a leather sling set that's been hung over the frame, itself reminiscent of a Brazilian midcentury look. With a choice of five colours for the leather, this is a homage that's a striking piece of design in its own right.

But it's not a look that comes cheap: the chair costs £813.50.
