Worth noting from the off that there are two auctions here, with the seller deciding to split the 1970s Chromcraft smoke glass dining table and chairs into two lots. But this distinctive design is still worthy a mention though.
Together they look amazing, perfect for any '70s or space age-inspired interior and to the seller's credit, he is willing to sell a part quantity of the chairs to go with the table.
The smoked glass table is said to be in 'very good condition 'and sits on top of a smoked Lucite/aluminium tulip/pedestal base, measuring around 157cm x 115cm. Most of the chairs are said to be in 'excellent condition' with 'minimal average wear' and apparently 'far less than you would expect for chairs of this age.' Also featuring a smoky-coloured lucite, they sit on a swivel tulip base lucite base separated by hourglass shaped aluminium columns. The seats are upholstered in a white vinyl with 'reasonably full thick' padding.
The table is up at £397, the price of the chairs depend on how many you want to take – seem to be at £100 each right now.
