You might not know the name Christiane Lemieux, but she's the woman behind the US DwellStudio brand, which is something we have featured in the past with items such as the Jensen Chair and Deco Border pillows for example. Now she's designing for House of Fraser, which is where you'll find this Lars chair and stool.
It's a lovely midcentury-inspired design without being too 'in your face'. The kind of design that could sit easily in a variety of period settings. According to House of Fraser, the chair is upholstered in the 'highest quality Italian leather', with button detailing on the back and seat, all of which is say on an angled softwood frame.
Looks pretty timeless to us and as such, should be something you will be with you for some time. The chair retails for £699 (which is a sale price, having previously been at £879), with the stool at £399 (down from £499).
