Rob Pybus vintage tattoo rugs for Floor Story

Rob tattoo rug

A classic tattoo will look just as good in your home as on your body. Well, that's something of the theory behind these vintage tattoo rugs, designed by Rob Pybus for Floor Story

Illustrator Pybus has gone back to very traditional designs for these rugs made for East London rug company Floor Story. There are three different designs to pick from: the glamorous sailor pin-up girl shown above, the evocative hearts and birds as shown below, as well as a headdress and roses design. Each rug is made from 100% wool, hand-knotted in India, and are a great alternative to the many more traditional rug designs available on the high street.

There's something of an exclusivity to these designs, with only 20 of each design available.

The price makes them pretty exclusive too. A 160cm x 230cm rug will set you back £1500.00.
