This is quite a find. Not only that, the 1955 Volkswagen Beetle on eBay could be yours too.
It dates back to 1955, an original right hand drive model out of the Jowett factory in New Zealand and finished in ‘Jowett Blue’. That’s probably enough for some, but the real selling point here is originality.
The car hasn’t been altered or modified at all. This is pretty much as it left the factory, with some signs of age obviously. After all, this car is over 60 years old, you would expect it. The carpet, headlining, upholstery and matting are all described as being in ‘really nice condition’ and the car has had no welding or accident damage.
It oozes character and you suspect it will take some digging to find another like it.
