Adidas The Sneeker trainers get summer reissue

First seen in 1979, the Adidas The Sneeker trainers are back as a lightweight summer reissue.

The original packed a leather upper and coloured outsole, but this new version, whilst still being colourful, has a 'soft perforated upper' (which looks not unlike suede), as well as printed branding on the thin foam tongue and on the heel, plus an embossed adidas logo on the midsole.

Adidas Gazelle OG trainers reissued in black and white suede finish

Yet another reissue of the Adidas Gazelle OG, this time with a monochrome black and white finish.

Keeping the same slim profile as the 1968 original, this latest reissue is in black with white detailing, as well as having a suede upper, contrast white hexagonal sole and gold metallic branding.

Adidas Samba trainers get a nylon upper reissue

A classic gets a reissue with a twist - the Adidas Samba, offered in two nylon-based finishes.

Choose from the blue above or the black, pictured over the page, both faithful to the original 1962 football shoe in profile, but not in construction - this one has a canvas and leather upper, along with a contrasting textile inner and a small velcro pocket on the tongue.

Adidas reissues women's 1980s Julrunner trainers

We don't feature a lot of women's trainers, but that's for good reason - there are very few classic reissues for women from the main brands. But here's an obscure addition that has just sneaked out by Adidas - the Julrunner trainers.

I think you might have guessed that this is a running shoe, specifically a French running shoe that first saw the light of day back in the 1980s. This reissue is faithful to that original, mixing nylon with suede detailing, throwing in reflective 3-Stripes and a heel patch to finish things off.

Two original colourways to choose from, £75 is the price tag.

Adidas SL 72 trainers reissued in red and black finishes

Another Adidas reissue, this the Adidas SL 72 trainers, which were originally running shoes designed the Munich Olympics in 1972.

This reissue still has the profile and the character, but the all-nylon upper now has some suede detailing, offering a dividing line between the nylon and the traction tread sole.
