Back in 2007, we featured these when they were first produced. But now the Delft Flying Ducks by Andrew Tanner are back as a colourful new edition.
The bird shape is the designer Naomi Murrell’s signature design. The set comprises three wooden birds of varying sizes; the smallest is 8cm, the largest is 18cm. They are supplied with Velcro dots for easy hanging. They costs Aus$120 (just over £78 at the time of writing).

The website selling the rug inaccurately describes it as being inspired by the Duckworths on Coronation Street, but as all retro interiors fans know, it was in fact Hilda Ogden who famously had these on her wall.
But, putting that aside, the Flying Ducks Rug provides a nice twist on the idea of duck flying across your wall, as here they will fly across your floor. The rug is available in two sizes; small (120cm x 170cm) priced £149.99 or medium (150cm x 230cm) for £239.99, and in a choice of beige or the odder options of sage or lilac.

The Jo Jo Duck Hooks by designer-maker Haidée Drew are an amusing twist on the usual flying ducks.
Rather than flying across the wall in the traditional way, these ducks are mounted on the wall to give the impression that they are swimming down the wall instead. Rather than being merely an ironic decoration (which may be enough in itself), they have a function too as they can be used to hang up jewellery, keys or tea towels.
The Jo Jo Duck Hooks cost £20 from Swanky Maison

Flying ducks are forever associated with Hilda Ogden's sitting room on Coronation Street and many other hallways across Britain in the sixties and seventies. Here's a chance to update a classic, with Paint-Your-Own flying ducks.
Yes, it's three plain ducks with mini paint pots so you can interpret the ducks as you choose. Given the colours of paint available it looks like the finished result isn't going to be too naturalistic.
A bit of silly fun, you can buy the set from Urban Outfitters, a shop that seems to specialise in silly fun gifts, for £20.
