The Lego Art collection has gone all ’80s graffiti with the launch of the Keith Haring Dancing Figures Lego set.
You might recall me mentioning the Robert Indiana’s Love Lego set a couple of months back. That proved really popular. Because, like this set, it works on different levels.
Of course, this is a Lego set, one that’s aimed at adults. As such, this 1,773-piece set should bring a lot of pleasure over boring weekends and evenings. It is likely great for mindfulness if you are feeling stressed out, too.
But it’s also about the end product. This isn’t just a Lego set, it’s a home decor idea.
It comes with five building instruction booklets, one for each of the five figures, so you can enjoy it alone, making the figures one by one, or use it as a social experience, getting your friends round to make a Haring classic too.
Once it’s built, you have two display options. You can either hang your frameless Lego Keith Haring artwork on a wall or you can connect each figure to a stand and showcase them as you like.
Oh yes, it’s a great gift idea if you know a Haring fan. Even better if they love Lego. And you just know this will be a future collectable, too, like many of these slightly unusual Lego sets. Just as well, as the set doesn’t come cheap.
You can pre-order this for delivery in the middle of this month, with a price of £104.99.
