Looking for a clock that doesn’t actually show the time? You need the Audocron in your home, originally released in 1979 and now back on the market.

The main purpose of this silver circular device is to signify the passing of time, offering a chime on the half hour and hour, along with a pulsing light on the side. And if you want to know the time in-between, touch the Audocron and it will tell you the time in a series of beeps and tones, which signify hours and minutes.

Yes, it sounds like hard work, but it is a good looker for your sideboard and it’s cheap – just $19.99, which is around £10.
