Another dip into the archives for Onitsuka Tiger for the new season, with the Onitsuka Tiger Rotation 77 trainers making a re-appearance in 2009.
The Rotation 77 us actually based on the Rote 77 from (confusingly) 1978, originally designed as a volleyball shoe. Indeed its reinforced toe still makes it useful for that purpose, but it’s more likely to appeal as casual footwear, sitting somewhere between a pump and a trainer.
The usual Onitsuka stripes are present and there’s a choice of colour schemes to choose from, all selling for around the £50 mark.
