Sylvia Chalmers was a textile designer from the 50's, and twelve of her stunning designs have now been reproduced by Classic Textiles.
The designs have been launched with permission from Sylvia Chalmers' surviving relatives, and is printed by the Centre for Advanced Textiles. The Centre for Advanced Textiles, is a research hub based at the renowned Glasgow School of Art which offers research and bespoke printing facilities.
Classic Textiles also sell fabric by textile greats Lucienne Day and Robert Stewart. The printed fabrics are 100% linen and costs £75 a metre, unfortunately quality doesn't come cheap.
