Delyth Walsh cushions

Delyth Walshsays her inspiration comes from 1950s style and Scandinavian design and it shows on her beautiful range of fabrics, used here for cushions. They come in a range of designs which are based on her own line drawings and modified using C.A.D. and show a beguiling mixture of organic looking forms combined with geometric shapes in an unusual colour palette. Each design has been printed onto natural fabrics, in this case a cotton and linen mix.

Each cotton costs £49 but could be a worthwhile investment: in 2008 the Textile Society gave her the Lucienne Day which celebrates innovative textiles for use in contemporary interiors, making her a name to watch for the future.
