Nelson

A new batch of George Nelson classics have been reissued by Vitra in 2010, including the George Nelson Wheel Clock.

It's from the 1960s, specifically 1961, with a design not dissimilar to the spokes of a car. Hence the name. Those tubular 'spokes' are made from lacquered walnut, with a tip of aluminium, the latter also used for the hands.

It has a diameter of 45.5cm, which is certain to make an impact on any wall. £269 is the price.
