Some amazing high street retro design in the form of the Miss Vivienne sofa and armchair at Sofa Workshop, which is shown here (and over the page) in Romo Quintus Nori and Heloise Nougat fabric. Although you can choose from a seemingly endless choice of fabrics for yours.
Both sofa and armchair ooze midcentury style, but are modern designs, handmade in britain and with a 10-year frame guarantee (so hopefully no 'slump'). Curved/angled arms, a curved back and angled/tapered wooden legs, that just about sums it up.
There's also some midcentury-style furniture to go with it, three wooden tables in various sizes (see those on the site), as well as that footstool for the armchair. As for prices, the sofa sells for £1,359, the armchair £838 and the footstool is £341, but prices vary up and down depending on our fabric choice.
