Beside the Sea by John Akehurst is celebration of the good old days of British seaside holidays.
What is available to buy is a Giclée art print on archival quality paper of John's original collage. He uses traditional techniques for his collages “licking and sticking” vintage images rather than relying on computer programmes. This print features boats, maps, beach huts, donkey rides ice creams and even a glamour sun seeker. Its certainly a rose-hinted image of the seaside, but all the better for it.
