Birdyplates

These birdy plates are another piece of 1950s-inspired design courtesy of Magpie

You may remember the name of the company through their retro-styled alphabet mugs we featured earlier in the year. These are very much in the same spirit: charming 50s-influenced illustrations, executed in gentle colours.

The inspiration for these designs apparently came from a childhood spent bird spotting using the I-Spy book. You'd get full points for this little selection which comes in a lovely gift box. There are also tea towels and espresso cups available in the same series.

The set of four plates costs £17.95.
