I feel sorry for the Nissan Pao. When people talk about retro Japanese cars, it's always the Nissan Figaro that gets a mention. But the Pao, also made by Nissan and designed by Shoji Takahashi, has much to offer too.
For a start, it's a car that is much less common outside of Japan, with fewer being exported. That's got to be a plus. Like the Figaro, it is (or was) a limited edition and like the Figaro, it is based on a Nissan Micra engine, so easy to get fixed up.
It also comes with a retro interior, but has a very different exterior to the Figaro – this one also has a tailgate, making it great for transporting items. On top of that, the Pao has automatic transmission, air conditioning, power steering and an electric sunroof. This particular example has done 62,000 miles and comes with a new MOT.
More details and lots more images on the listing. The price right now is £205.
