Working girl stool

Nothing at all to do with Melanie Griffith, the Working Girl stool is David Irwin's update on a classic type of seating.

The 'working' bit of the title probably comes from the designs versatility. This is the kind of stool that has cropped up in kitchens and school rooms for years and is currently enjoying a bit of a revival. If you want to invest in the look, this particular design uses good, solid materials with an oak top and powdered steel legs. Pick from the eye-catching red pictured or a more austere black.

The stools are available in various sizes: offering the height of practicality perhaps?

They're available for a limited period at reduced prices, starting at £185.90 from Bouf,
