Written by Peter Morazzi with photography from Sven A Kirsten, the book is a 175 page survey of some of the United States finest eating establishments of the 1950s and 1960s, from New York to LA to Las Vegas to New Orleans.

The book pulls together historic photos, menus and advertising from the various establishments – ranging from the classy to the very kitsch – to capture something of the glamour of dining out in this period. Contemporary photographs reveal how these restaurants look today.
