If you want a mix of high end and retro for your camera, there are quite a few options around, but the latest is the newly-launched Olympus Pen E-P5 camera.

It's the latest retro-styled 'Pen', once again a Micro Four Thirds camera, which packs the image quality of an SLR into a smaller casing. This 1960s-styled model comes with a mechanical shutter capable of shooting at up to 1/8000th second maximum, as well as a 16-megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic VI image processing engine for high-quality photos.

There's also Wi-Fi, image stabilisation, 9fps burst shooting, fast autofocus and a tilting LCD touchscreen and an array of arty filters for your shots!

None of which comes cheap. You'll be looking at £1,099 when it lands later this year.
