Vintage bus blinds and street signs have become popular items for home decor in recent years and perhaps a little too commonplace, but Woods Vintage Home Interiors offer an interesting twist with their vintage-style Railway Waiting Room Signs.

Based on genuine signs found in railway stations in years gone by, the signs have been recreated using reclaimed Victorian wood. The one pictured here has been painted with Underground Blue paint and given a distressed vintage finish. There are other designs available, for example London and North East Railways or White Star Line. All of the designs have vintage hooks so they aren't just decorative – they fulfil the practical function of providing somewhere to hang your coat or hat.

Prices vary according to design, but as guide cost between £75 and £135. Visit Woods Vintage Home Interiors on Not on the High Street to see the full range.
