Clifford Richards has been creating his illustrations since the 1960s, but here he has turned his attention to some of the biggest names in art with a series of Artist Sketch Books.

To inspire budding artists, the sketch book front cover features a detachable bookmark illustration of one of four of the 20th century's most distinctive artists. Fancy yourself as a Cubist? Go for the Picasso design.  For pop art fans, there is the unmistakeable Andy Warhol with his white hair, sunglasses, striped jumper and soup can.

If Surrealism is more your bag, choose between  Frieda Kahlo in her brightly coloured traditional Mexican dress or the master Dali, complete with his twirly moustache, clutching a fish (what else – typical surrealist!).

The sketchbooks cost £4.50 each from Noodoll.
