The 1948 classic, originally called the FH1935, has been reissued to celebrate 100 years since the designer's birth, with the exclusivity to John Lewis down to its own 150-year anniversary.
It's a midcentury gem, made of oak and walnut with those lovely curves for the back and seat, with more subtle curves and angles for the frame. Never mind sitting on it, this is something to look at and admire day after day.
