Now this really is impressive. A midcentury property that looks like something out of a mid-20th century interiors magazine. It's actually a 1970s Hassell & Partners-designed midcentury house in Adelaide, South Australia.

According to the details, this 1970s build was found by the current owners in near original condition, then taken on a step using the original features of this place as a template for their own midcentury home.

The result is what you see here, a heavily-glazed house with stone fireplaces, oak panelling and a wonderful outside / inside feel about the place.

The inside accommodation includes four bedrooms (the master with a walk-in wardrobe), three bathrooms and two living and dining areas. You also get a study with built-in units, a studio, a premium kitchen and basement space. Outside space covers around 5,471sq. metres, mainly landscaped gardens with some garaging too.

The images of this place tell the real story though and there are many more on the WowHaus website. If you want it, the price is between $1,750,000 – $1,900,000 (Australian), which is around £967,000 – £1,050,000. You can contact the agent here.
