We actually spotted this yesterday, as it was from the same seller as the record unit we flagged up. But we think this 1950s teak and fibreglass rocket lamp deserves its own spotlight.
Sounds like the seller is auctioning off a selection of items from a relative's house, most of which are worthy of checking out in their own right (do the 'see other items' on the listing to see the rest.
This lamp would look amazing in a 1950s-inspired setting, with that eye-catching rocket shape and its wood and orange fibreglass construction . Working as you might have guessed, although there is a 'split' in the fibreglass (which can only be seen from one side).
Still great value right now though, with the bid price at £4.20.
