A retro look at a budget price – that’s the classic biker jacket for women at Uniqlo, which comes in at under £50.
Worn by ‘rebels’ for decades and now a bona fide fashion item, the biker jacket has been given the Uniqlo treatment. Which obviously means a cheaper price tag and something more fashion friendly than the the kind of biker gear you would find in a motorcycle emporium for example. That’s for good reason. Uniqlo certainly isn’t recommending you get on a motorbike and rad off in this.
Why? Well, this one certainly doesn’t have the built-in protection and padding of a ‘real’ biker jacket. If that’s what you need, go see a specialist. But I am guessing that isn’t quite what you are looking for if you have arrived at this page.
You might well be happier with the faux leather finish on offer for this particular jacket rather than real leather. That faux finish also has ‘natural wrinkling’ and a ‘shiny’ finish, as well as a ‘slender fit’ cut and a slightly longer hem than traditional jackets of this style. Basically, it’s much lighter and ideal for slipping on if you are feeling particularly rebellious.
Sizes are from XS through to XL, which should hopefully cover most people. The price is a fraction of a real biker jacket too, which is £49.90.
