Now here’s a colour you don’t often see. Yes, a restored Dansette Bermuda Record Player with legs in pink on eBay.
There is a good reason for that. As far as I know, pink wasn’t in the original colour range for Dansette in the 1960s. This restored model has been given a new colour, courtesy of a new white leatherette material and the use of spray paint. Have to say, it’s rather striking.
The player has a Garrard deck, which has been ‘cleaned, lubricated and adjusted’, the valve amplifier has been checked and had new components fitted where necessary including capacitors and resistors. It is also fitted with a modern stylus and cartridge which is safe to use on your stereo records and it comes with plug in device which allows you to use the record player as a Bluetooth speaker.
