The title is quite a mouthful, but this vintage kidney-shaped midcentury modern table on eBay is quite an eyeful too.
In fact, I’m guessing that if you love midcentury modern furniture, then you will have already fallen for this one. I know I have.
The table is made of wood and finished in strips of mother of pearl effect plastic and black plastic, then topped off with a gold rim. The table also has three removable wooden feet / legs placed, which are angled as you would expect and hope. A striking design and definitely as talking point when visitors pop round.
The table is described as being in ‘very good / good’ condition. That means a few age-related scratches and marks and three dents around the gold rim (see the close-up pictures on the listing for all of that). However, the seller adds that these ‘do not interfere with the overall look of the piece’ and the table is structurally sound. Anyway, doesn’t a few marks add character to a vintage piece?
