That’s because they are the real thing. I know. That is something that some of you might feel a little uncomfortable about. Vinyl lovers tend to be against reusing vinyl for anything other than their prime purpose of being played.

But as someone who worked in a record store in his first job, I can tell you that there has been a lot of bad vinyl produced over the years, as a browse through most charity shop record boxes will tell you. For every cult classic that are 100 east listening compilations and forgotten pop stars that no one really wants. Repurposing does make sense in some cases.
