I have featured plenty of disco balls in the past, but nothing quite like the newly-launched Disco Ball Hanging Planter.

Yes, it is a real thing. Not some mad idea that somehow made it off the drawing board and into the prototype stage. And do you know what? I think it works too. At least, it does if you have a love of disco.

Or you just might like the idea of something shiny and retro in the house. There’s no reason to have pounding disco beats in the house. But if you do love them, it might help.

Anyway, it’s a planter, sized around six inches and perfect for disco-loving gardeners. If you know one, that’s Christmas sorted. Full with so and a plant, hang up via the metal chains, and you are away.

At least, you are if you invest in one. Firebox has them, and they are obviously providing very popular. So don’t hang about if you want one. Each retails for £24.99.
