You might have to pre-order some of the 1970s Peanuts Beagle Scouts gadgets at Retrospekt. But if you love Snoopy, you might want to.

This is an amazing collection that mixes old-school style and gadgetry with a much-loved animated classic. And the finish is even better than that sounds. This is, once again, retro done to the very highest level. The packaging is pretty special, too.

This collection was created to honour the 50th anniversary of the Beagle Scouts’ first appearance in the Peanuts comic strip in 1974 and, as such, features some wonderful imagery from it across all products.

Those products are, as you can see, a Polaroid 600 camera, a 35mm film camera, an old-school portable cassette player, plus custom bags for both cameras in the range.

Note that the Polaroid uses refurbished, vintage Polaroid internal components from the 80s and 90s, housed in a freshly-moulded exterior, which, like all the range, is designed and built by Retrospekt and officially licensed by Polaroid and Peanuts.

The 35mm camera is an all-new gadget, as is that super-cool cassette player. The bags are pretty much the icing on the cake if you love Snoopy and his pals.

Not as expensive as you might think, although Polaroid cameras are never cheap these days – and that’s before you get to the film within. This particular Polaroid is £144, with the 35mm coming in at £48. Bags for the cameras sell for £29 and £24 respectively.

If you have cassettes still living in the house, you can play them on this portable player for an outlay of £80. As I said, some items are pre-order, so don’t expect them to be here for Christmas.
