Love an Adidas archive design, which is pretty much what you have with this reissued Adidas OG Airliner bag.
You can still buy standard Airliner bags, which change year on year but maintain a classic Adidas look. A couple of colours are in the Adidas range right now, but this one winds back the clock a bit more.
This is one from Adidas’s past, with a design pulled from the archives from (I would guess) the late 1960s or early 1970s. Adidas is rocking a ’60s thing right now when it comes to archive designs, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see it dating back to then.
The difference here is the colour and the branding. That bold shade of blue contrasted with white is timeless, and the logo and branding are equally timeless, but with a vintage look that’s going to have Adidas collectors reaching for the credit card.
This reissued version is made of faux leather, is a good size for travel or just everyday use (think laptop and lunch), and has the little Adidas touches on the zip, too. It also has a good chunky strap, as you would expect.
At £55, it’s a touch more pricey than the standard bags, but not a lot.
