This appeared last year and promptly sold out. So it’s good to see the Steve McQueen striped t-shirt by 66 Clothing back for 2025.
It was back in August of last year that it launched, and like anything related to Steve McQueen, it sold out quickly. Because that’s the way these things are, even decades after his death.
Just looking through the archive, I’ve featured his Heuer Monaco watch (and reissues of said watch), the Persol Steve McQueen sunglasses, even a Lego set based on the car in Bullitt. Steve McQueen always sells.
And so will this t-shirt once again. As you can see from the top image here, it is based on a design family worn by McQueen at his peak, and a design that’s still very stylish in a retro way, years on.
It utilises a black background with a distinctive white stripe across the front and sleeves, finished with a retro crew neck. It’s made of soft cotton and has a very small maker’s tag in the collar and subtly on the hem. The only obvious differences from the original.
All sizes are currently available, with the price at £44.
