It is a match made in design heaven – Emma Bridgewater Polka Dot AGA Cooker.

Emma Bridgewater has made a name for herself with cute retro designs and you don’t get any more traditionally British than the manufacturer of country house cookers. It seems such an obvious match, it is almost surprisingly that they had not united before. The reason they have collaborated is to celebrate AGA’s 300th anniversary and the result is this limited edition cream cooker decorated with Emma Bridgewater’s signature dotty design. The cooker will sell for just under £10,000.

We’ve seen vintage plates given a new lease of life as cake stands but here is a more unusual idea, the Kitsch Kitchen Plate Clock.

Not only is the clock face made from an old floral patterned plate that your granny would probably live, but the hands have been made from spoon handles and the pendulum from a tablespoon.
