Wallpaper Projects Book

Wallpaperprojects

We frequently feature retro and vintage wallpaper, but often although I love the design many of them would be too much on my walls. So this book “Wallpaper Projects: 50 Craft and Design Ideas for Your Home, from Accents to Art” seems to offer the solution.

It contains inspiration and instructions on how to use wallpaper to decorate numerous items around your home including stools, bookshelves and frames. The 144 pages contain over 50 different projects.

It is available in hardback for just under £14 from Amazon.

Renna Coat Stand

Rennastand9-product0

The description of the Renna Coat Stand as rare was no exaggeration as I have been unable to find any others for sale.

The coat stand was designed by Bruce Tippet for Knoll in 1968 and features a white lacquered frame with seventeen revolving arms. It is a gorgeous item that it would perhaps be a shame to cover it up with coats and hats.

It is available to buy from Fears and Kahn priced £795.

“Made in England” Rolling Pin

BF313

A bit of nostalgic patriotism here (assuming you are English, otherwise this will be of little interest). It is the “Made in England” Rolling Pin by Kathleen Hills.

The bone china rolling pin has raised lettering that will emboss your pastry as you roll it with a slogan that we don’t see so much of these days.

It costs £37.50 from Bodie and Fou.
