Gina Pierce has produced a range of location-inspired textiles, which in turn have been made into bags.
The two History Maps Bags take an early map of the East End of London and a recreated map of the Underground from 1919 which features tube stations that have either since closed or been renamed. So as well as a stylish design, they offer an interesting glimpse at London in days gone by.
The large tote bag measures 41cm high by x 46 cms wide and is fully lined with an internal pocket. It costs just under £50. A small bag is available available (measuring 34cm by 31cm) for just under £30. Both are available to by online from Hidden Art Shop.
The Petronilla lighting range is another example of modern lighting with a retro influence. 
The Double Bubble Table Lamp has clearly been influenced by the space-age designs of the 1960s. 
Barnaby Barford & Andre Klauser have produced a small collection of products inspired by simple childhood games. You’ve probably already seen the Solitaire Olive Dish which lots of shops seem to be selling, but I’ve only just discovered their Battleship Napkins. 
Andreas Linzner is probably best known for the toys he makes from vintage towelling (we’ve featured his giraffes a while back). This item is still using his favoured towelling material, but in a more conventional way in this men’s bathrobe. 
The Flipt Chaise Longue is different from other chaises in that it isn’t just a chaise, it is also a chair too.
