408Not for our younger readers, I’m afraid, but for anyone over 18 looking for some light reading material from the past, Judith Michael & Daughter have for a sale a varied collection of Vintage Playboy Magazines.

Mainly dating from the 1950s and 1960s, the magazines vary in price and condition. They also have a copy of a very rare Playboy parody, Harvard Lampoon Playboy Parody.

Prices start at £25, which is considerably more than you’d pay for the current issue of Nuts or GQ, but infinitely more classy!

“Old Cars” T-Shirt

OldcartsAnother item printed with pictures of retro vehicles! This time, it is the “Old Cars” T-shirt from French catalogue La Redoute.

It is being sold in their Boy 2-12 range, although I don’t see any reason why a little girl couldn’t wear it too! The printed t-shirt comes in a pack with a plain vest style top, both for a bargain price of between £5 and £6 depending on the size.

Retro Print Peg Bag

PegbagHanging out washing is never going to be a glamorous task, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t at least try to make it more stylish. Our latest offering in this mission is this Retro Print Peg Bag by Jam-Tart.

Vintage Fondue Sets

Blue_flower_fondue_ppShiny new fondue sets are easy enough to find, but for a more authentic dipping experience, you may want something with genuine 1970’s heritage. The Laundry currently have three Vintage Fondue Sets for sale in the vintage section of their website.

Picture here is the smallest and cheapest currently available, a Blue Ceramic set complete with four forks and its original box, costing £28.

The other two sets both cost £32 and have larger capacities. One is black aluminium with a geometric pattern whilst the other is the most seventies style of them all, decorated in a brown and orange floral pattern.

Eileen Gray Screen

GreyscreenBest known for the Bibendium Chair, Eileen Gray designed a wide range range of products and this screen is based on one of her designs.

It is made up of multiple wood panels, laquered in black polyester and polished to give a high gloss finish. It makes a striking addition to a large room where it can act as a divider.

Available as part of the Bauhaus collection from Design Icons, it is rather costly at just under £1,200, but it is a classic design that will never fall out of fashion.
