A timeless classic – the Iittala Kartio glassware range.
Despite its modern looks, the range was actually designed in 1958 by Kaj Franck, selling continually for the following 50 years due to its durabiity and simple looks that have effectively side-stepped fashion.
Choose from a variety of colours, with the pitcher retailing for around £36, medium tumblers for £5 and large tumblers for £6 each.

You can buy individually or (cheaper) as a set, each containing 48 blank pages and as the name suggests, a flip top and pages.

A man described as the ‘grandfather of modern Danish furniture’ will be celebrated with a reissue of some of his classic designs – Finn Juhl 1940 – 1965.
The mid-century reissues are by Hamburg-based Wohnkultur 66 and include the two designs above – the 4600 sofa from 1946 (with a teak and walnut frame) and the 1948 4850 coffee table, which is also made from teak and walnut, with a choice of four colours for the top.
Initially, they will be exclusive to Wohnkultur 66 and certainly not cheap. No price for the sofa as yet, but the coffee table retails for 1,565 Euros.
I’ve never previously encountered TST Footwear, but the Japanese brand might be one to watch on the evidence of these TST retro-styled trainers.
Two versions available – the all-white above and a perforated black and white model. Both are the work of Seishi Tanaka and both have those retro looks, as well as being made from the ‘finest materials’ and being hand-finished.
