Topman is reissuing a range of classic 1970s rock t-shirts originally designed by cult 70s fashion label Wonder Workshop.
Working with the original Wonder Workshop designers (John Dove and Molly White) and fashion writer Paul Gorman, these tattoo-inspired t-shirts were first seen on some of the biggest names of the decade – Marc Bolan, Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger and Robert plant were all photographed famously in the t-shirts.
Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe as far back as 1920 and still very much a contemporary piece of design is the Knoll MR armchair.
The chair is built around the frame – tubular polished chrome, with the same chrome providing the armrests. The seating cantilevers over that base, with each section quilted and seamed into individual sections.
The signature of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is stamped into the base of the chair, with each chair having an individual production number for identification and authenticity. Choose from black or white leather, both retailing for the hefty price tag of £2,925.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ian Fleming’s birth, Penguin is reissuing all of the original James Bond novels in hardback.
All have co-ordinated sleeves too – stylish retro designs that are the work of San Francisco-based illustrator Michael Gillette. Two of the books are pictured above, but you can pre-order all of them now (and see the artwork of all the books online), with a release date of 29th May 2008.
Recommended price for each is £14.99, although Amazon is doing advanced orders for £9.89 each.

Everything about the design is classic. And if you need to look cool on a weekend break, it’s just the thing with that glossy finish, dogtooth lining and Dior Homme tag on the side.
