As a child, a good way of passing the time of day in the long holidays was making badges out of old packaging and crisp packets, something designer Anwen Williams is still doing with these vintage sweet wrapper badges.
There’s a good choice to choose from, including the Black Jack, Fruit Salad and Refresher pictured here, all 3.5cm in diameter and all handmade.

Thanks to Karen H-K for digging up this Plus Minus space age 8-inch LCD TV – but unfortunately we know little about it.
Well, we know a few things. It only seems to be available in Japan, it has an 8-inch screen, full remote control, plenty of connectivity for your add-ons and DVD player and a choice of colours – white, black and red.
It also seems to have been available in Japan for some time, currently retailing there for the hefty equivalent of £313. Which makes us suspect there’s more to this than being your average portable TV.

The Diana is more of a cult item than a 60s classic, but if you like the idea of quirky photos from a vintage camera, you can pick one up thanks to a reissue by Lomo.
The Diana was originally made by the Great Wall Plastic Factory in Hong Kong in the 1960s, famous for producing out-of-focus images that have (unintentionally) become its trademark.
The new version still does that – and on old 120 roll film. In fact, apart from a couple of minor improvements, this is the same as the one you would buy 40+ years ago. Available from October, you can pre-order one now for $50 (around £25).
