Billy Bag 70s-style weekend holdall

Billybag The sun is shining again – ideal weather to head off for a weekend at the coast. And you’ll look pretty stylish with this Billy Bag 70s-style weekend holdall on the back seat.

It’s a large holdall (25 x 40 x 16cm) made up of a laminated canvas featuring a pattern that wouldn’t have looked out of place on a 1970s living room wall. And if you don’t like this, there’s also a blue and purple colour scheme. Other features include both handles and a strap, plus an outside pocket for anything you need to hand.

Available online, you can pick one up for £100.

Urban Outfitters’ Specials/Two Tone t-shirt

Specials More 1980s nostalgia, this time from Urban Outfitters, which has a range of women’s t-shirts featuring old record sleeves and designs, including this Specials/Two Tone t-shirt.

Anyone who isn’t skinny need not apply – this is small only – and judging by the model, that means small and thin. If you can fit into it, you get a grey t-shirt with the Two Tone record logo and featuring the Walt Jabsco character (who, if you didn’t know, is actually based on an old photo of reggae star Peter Tosh).

You can pick one up for a less-than-cheap £38.

Cabane de Zucca Eye Patch watch

Cabane

In the search for cool retro timepieces, I’ve just encountered the Cabane de Zucca Eye Patch watch – a nice piece of space age design for your wrist.

It’s a Japanese watch, designed in a minimalist style by the fashionable Issey Miyake label and made by Seiko. Colour options include white and yellow (which were both sold last year) and the newly-introduced sand colour (seen above).

Simple and smart, you can pick them up online for around £100.

Waterloo’s repro Clash t-shirt

Waterloo_clash Over at our cult movie site Cinedelica, we recently featured Waterloo’s cult film t-shirts, in particular, its A Clockwork Orange top. But as well as films, they also do a range of classic music t-shirts, including this Clash t-shirt.

Yes, it’s a take on the London Calling sleeve, in a choice of colour ranges and sizes for men and women. If you don’t fancy that, there’s plenty of other retro music t-shirts featuring a pile of classic rockers.

The company is based in Argentina, but they do low-cost shipping worldwide. T-shirt prices aren’t bad either – £12.50 each.

Domino mobile phone – ideal for pub games

Domino_1

I bet you would struggle to use the word ‘stylish’ about your mobile phone. I know I would. But that wouldn’t be the case if I had the Domino Phone in my pocket.

Created by the Stockholm-based Syntes Studio, this slim phone carries the domino theme right through the design, with a reverse like a large domino, keys showing domino symbols and a box that looks just like an old wooden domino case. There is a downside though – this is a concept phone, which means it’s not yet in production.

Let’s hope it becomes reality – the mobile phone world needs a style injection. More photos after the turn.
