Vintage-style Dococo-Lacoste polo shirts for kids

>

Lacoste

We get more emails about the long-gone My First Fred Perry polo shirt than just about anything else on the site. Sadly, we can't bring those back, but we can offer an alternative for your little folk – these vintage-style Dococo-Lacoste polo shirts for kids.

We're guessing they're limited edition, so if you want one (even at the high prices being asked), you might want to get in quick. Two colours options, with the designs of these cotton polo shirts apparently inspired by the classic shape of days gone by (with a nod to the French flag).

Each is sold in a rather cool vintage-style Lacoste bag and available for ages two to eight-years old, priced at 75 Euros.

One of the coolest desks ever produced is back in production, but only a limited number of the Igl Jet Desk will be made available.

ChauhanStudio Lula space age homeware range for Habitat

Chau1

We're big fans of ChauhanStudio, especially its space age designs like the recently-launched Colombo Phone and the much-anticipated Hal TV. So we're all over this new ChauhanStudio Lula homeware range for Habitat.

Yes, it's very much inspired by the space age look of the late 60s, but at the same time, offering a very modern twist for your kitchen. Its all made of melamine, some items with a coloured finish, but all available in white.

The range includes a utensil set, colanders and the bread bin above. Check out over the page for more images, then count your loose change. You see, these designs are incredibly cheap – starting at just £9 and topping out for the bread bin at just £40.

Saint Etienne’s Foxbase Alpha CD boxset – complete with 6-inch Subbuteo player

Etienneplayer

We mentioned this last week over on Electric Roulette and have featured the album on our short-lived Lost and Found section, but we're covering the classic Foxbase Alpha album by Saint Etienne for one more reason – this 6-inch Subbuteo player.

Keen fans of 70s football will recognise the strip as the 1970s kit of French team Saint Etienne, the team that gave the band its name. There's only one way to get this super-sized soccer player, by buying the Saint Etienne Foxbase Alpha boxset, which will include this man, along with a reprint of the original album poster, 4x unique badges and a CD copy of the remastered double album. All wrapped up in a 'vintage Etienne green presentation box'.

Just 1,000 of these will be made and will be available for pre-order later this month for July delivery – no price details available as yet.

Volvo’s classic P1800 Coupe heads back into production

P1600_1

Famed for being the car driven by the Roger Moore-era Saint and still sought after by collectors today, the 1961 Volvo P1800 Coupe is making a return, with a modern twist and in very limited numbers.

It's a sympathetic update of the original by Swedish designer Bo Zolland, now with a new front wing, side-skirts, flat underbody and active rear diffuser for better aerodynamics, while the deep-dish oversize alloys will no doubt appeal to the boy racer in you. It's also got more power than the original – courtesy of Volvo’s current 4.4-litre V8 engine.

It's likely to be offered in limited numbers by Vox Customs for an as-yet undisclosed price. We suspect that will mean very expensive.
