Batman and Robin coffee mugs

Batman_robin_coffee

Etsy is always a good place to look for retro and vintage items – and that’s where we found these Batman and Robin coffee mugs.

They’re apparently vintage items, dating back to 1966, with cartoon takes on the TV series portrayals of the comic book heroes on both sides of the mugs. Sadly, being vintage and essentially one-offs means that they’re not cheap – $59, which is around £30. Pretty hefty for a couple of cups.

Ototo rocket salt and pepper shakers

Rocket_shakers
If you’re on the look out for novelty condiments, but want something slightly more adult than the recently-featured Lego shakers, you might like these rocket-shaped salt and pepper shakers from Ototo.

Ok, they’re not that much more grown up, but shaped like a cartoon rocket and with NASA-style logos, these shakers are sure to attract attention at your next dinner party.

Sadly, we don’t know the price of them, with Monkey Business offering them mail order. But if you drop then a line and ask nicely, I’m sure they’ll sell you a set.

FunkyFloral Pepper Mill

3683_funkyfloral_peppermill_matchinAdd a dash of colour to your kitchen and a splash of pepper to your food with the FunkyFloral pepper mill from Green & Sanders.

Decorated with lime, blue and orange flowers, it comes with a matching sugar bowl and spoon to form a complete psychedelic condiment kit. I’ll warn you now, its pretty expensive, retailing at £109, the high price probably being on account of the design being hand-painted.

If you are a pepper lover with cash to spare, its available from Not on the High Street.
