Inspiral Carpets milk bottle

Inspirals
While we’re talking about collectable milk bottles, it’s probably a good time to flag up one of the most collectable milk bottles of recent years – the Inspiral Carpets milk bottle, which is currently featured over at Electric Roulette.

Dropping on doorsteps in the middle of 1990, these bottles were everywhere. However, a mix of people handing them back (as you should with glass bottles) and breakages has seen their numbers drop considerably ever since.

These days, you’ll have to pay something like £15-£20 to pick one up. But if you see one you should – it’s a fantastic piece of Madchester memorabilia.
