Traditional Lampshade Cluster Light from Rockett St George
Who needs a chandelier? If you have a high enough ceiling, combine eyecatching and ultra-twee with this Traditional Lampshade Cluster Light from Rockett St George.
The light is made up of 9 individual lampshades, each covered in different fabric and then lined with a co-ordinating vintage floral pattern. All 9 shades are then hung together in an eclectic, haphazard manner that makes for a spectacular flash of vintage chintz.
The Traditional Lampshade Cluster Light is £275 from Rockett St George. See the website for more details.

1940’s Writing Bureau from Out of the Dark
In need of somewhere to file your household paperwork? Forget filing cabinets and invest in this upcycled 1940's Writing Bureau from Out of the Dark.
Out of the Dark is a social enterprise project which works with disadvantaged young people to revitalise donated second-hand furniture, giving them the opportunity to learn both practical and project management skills.
The writing bureau has been given a new lease of life with a coat of black paint and contrasting handles on the drawers. It measures 75cm (l) x 43cm (w) x 106cm (h) so would fit a narrow alcove.
