We first saw this as a limited reissue earlier in the year, but now the Adidas TRX running shoes have got a wider reissue, which is available to order right now.
For your money you get three new colourways for this 1976 lightweight runner, but everything else is much the same – lightweight construction, suction cup, flared sole, heel cushioning and mesh upper.
You can pre-order now for October delivery, pricec at £55.
We heard about these some months back, but as some crucial details (not least, price) weren't available, we decided to keep our powder dry. But as the Clarks 60th Anniversary desert boot collection has just hit the shelves, it seems like the perfect time to put that right.
Essentially it's a boot for (almost) every decade, the 1950s through to the modern era, the latter covered by a classic desert boot, no doubt to represent the rather faceless era we live in. Before that, we have some more bold designs that include a rather cool Harris tweed boot for the 50s, a Liberty print for the swinging sixties and a union jack design for the Britpop-inspired 90s.
All have a crepe sole and come in a presentation box with a keyring-sized mini version of your chosen shoe. In limited numbers, they sell for around £89, which sounds fairly reasonable. Check out some larger images of the boots over the page.
No-one seems to be able to do 'old school' quite like Fila, perhaps because few have an archive as substantial as Filas. The Fila Siro knitted crewneck sweater is pretty typical of the current range.
Indeed, Fila gear is likely to even more prominent in the coming weeks, featuring heavily in Nick Love's The Firm, a loose remake of Alan Clarke's 1989 Brit flick focusing on football casuals, albeit a few years earlier in '84.
But back to the sweater (which does feature in the film), it's a premium knit with colour block detailing and the Fila F logo no the chest. Yours for £65.
There's something timeless about a classic Converse design – and the Converse Star Player Ox also manages to add eye-catching to the mix too.
A classic lo-top basketball shoe, the Star Player Ox has a black leather upper with red detailing, an All Star heel tab, a cushioned footbed for extra comfort and that white contrast sole.
It's pretty much perfect for kicking about the house and beyond for weekends and it's yours for £49.99.
The fair isle jumper seems to be slowly, slowly creeping back into fashion again. For those for who it never went away, celebrate this fact with this Fair isle sweater cushion by PhatSheep textiles. The designer, Suzanne Shearer, lives and works in Shetland so is well placed to look fondly upon them. She's depicted the sweaters in neat outlines, as if they are laid out for display, and has filled them in with bright colours and patterns.
The cushion costs £40 but real enthusiasts will be pleased to hear the pattern is also available across a variety of homewares including coasters, place mats and aprons.
Adidas seems to be going collaboration mad these days and with the Adidas Consortium Rod Laver trainers, it hasn't just teamed up once, but four times – although there is an original colourway too for good measure.
You can see that above, which is essentially the 1977 tennis court classic with a new finish. In this case, a leather toebox and lining, premium canvas upper, a rubber sole and the Consortium 'Handshake' branding on the tongue.
The four variations on this are from LimitEDitions, Undefeated, Dave's Quality Meat and VA, who all add their own detailing and colourway, but essentially keep the same shape and look. Check out the Dave's Quality Meat (DQM) version over the page, with prices for all around the £70 mark. Limited numbers of each style obviously.
