TST retro-styled All White trainers

Tst

I’ve never previously encountered TST Footwear, but the Japanese brand might be one to watch on the evidence of these TST retro-styled trainers.

Two versions available – the all-white above and a perforated black and white model. Both are the work of Seishi Tanaka and both have those retro looks, as well as being made from the ‘finest materials’ and being hand-finished.

Limited numbers at Oki-Ni, priced at £99.

Oakley Frogskin sunglasses – an 80s classic reissued in limited numbers

Frogskin

Oakley
is reissuing its classic Frogskin sunglasses – but only in limited numbers.

It’s the model that launched the company in 1985, originally available in over 50 colours and likely to be fondly remembered by anyone on the 80s skate, surf or bmx scenes.

The new version will be limited to just 3,000 pairs, each made with the original tooling for authenticity and in limited colour batches – Matte Red, Matte Rootbeer and Matte Grey available now, with Neon Yellow later this month and Dalmation – coming in May. All priced around the £70 mark.

Onitsuka Tiger launches trainer vending machine on Carnaby Street

Onitsuka_vending

If the Onitsuka Tiger store off Carnaby Street is closed, you can now pick up some of its retro-styled trainers from a nearby vending machine.

The machine can hold up to 24 pairs of trainers at a time, in six different sizes and is available to use from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th April. After that, it will tour round various cities in the UK.

And if you happen to be in the area of the vending machine, you can also win a pair – so it’s worth heading over for a nosey.

The Haring designs feature in both the men’s and women’s ranges and come in a wide variety of colours, so if you are a fan of his work, there is bound to be something that you’ll like.  They cost just £12.99 each.

Diadora’s 80s-style Exodus trainers

Diadora_exodus

The Diadora Seb Impact was a running shoe developed for runners like Sebastien Coe (hence the name) in the mod 80s, recently getting a limited reissue by the company. If you missed out on that, you might be interested in the newly-launched Diadora Exodus.

In fact, these are an almost identical copy of the Seb Impact – the only differences as far as I can see is in the cut of the suede detailing and the colour schemes, which include the grey/purple above as well as a white/red and green/red.

Very limited numbers on these and only from Oki-Ni, retailing at £85.
