Baracuta G9 slim limited Punk Edition Harrington jacket

Harrington_punk Baracuta continues to bring out slight variations of its classic Harrington – this time with the G9 slim limited Punk Edition Harrington jacket.

So what’s new? Well, not a lot in truth. The jacket is a slimline G9, widely available in most cities. The difference here is the packaging, which includes three ‘punk’ badges and a box (in pink) that’s designed to look like an old punk album cover.

Whether these limited editions will be collectors’ pieces of the future is hard to say, but if you want to take a chance – or you just like the jacket – it retails for £155 online.

Junk de Luxe Space Invaders waterproof jacket

Space_invader_jacket
It isn’t going to boost your cool, but everyone will know of your love of vintage arcade games if you walk down the street in this Space Invaders waterproof jacket from Junk de Luxe.

It’s essentially just a waterproof coat with elasticated waist and cuffs, as well as button-down pockets and concealed hood – and if you’re going for an 80s look, it could be for you. But that legion of arcade aliens all over the body and shoulders is certain to give it appeal from the retro gaming market – if they can find one.

It only seems to be available in Denmark at the Trendlovers website, where you can pick one up for the equivalent of £24.

Levi’s celebrates 1955 with its vintage 501 jeans and t-shirt package

Levis_vintage
Not exactly an anniversary – 53 years isn’t a milestone usually celebrated – but Levi’s have created a 1955 package of vintage 501 jeans and a t-shirt.

What you get for your money is a pair of vintage 501XX five-pocket dry jeans with an authentic 1955 cut, zinc button fly, copper rivets and big E Red tab, as well as an off-white/ cream 1950s Levi’s sportswear t-shirt and a vintage-style brown paper laundry bag as packaging.

Which will cost you a total of £159.99. Not the jeans will shrink on the first wash, so choose a size with that in mind.
