People Will Always Need Plates have joined forces with Clothkits for their latest product, Trellick Tower Skirts.
Moving away from their original product line of plates and crockery, they have moved into new territory of fashion, but still using their signature design of the Brutalist architecture landmark.
The skirt is available either as a sew-it-yourself kit or ready made item. The kit provides the material to make the skirt in any size between 8 and 20. For those less able with a sewing machine, the skirt can be made to order, but this will take an extra 14 days.
I’m pretty sure that you will be familiar with the Barcelona Chair by Mies Van Der Rohe, but what about the Barcelona Day Bed?
It has the same understated style as the more famous chair, but a decadent day bed is perhaps more interesting. It is made from stainless steel with full grain Italian leather upholstery.

We love the Lumi dolls – the hard part is actually finding them!
The dolls are all limited editions, handmade and standing around 45cm high, each one made of 100 per cent cotton with a polyester filling and with detailing (including individual fashions) made from linen, wool and vintage fabric.
Definitely one for the collectors, I would guess a few are floating around eBay as very few seem to be available to buy online right now, although Le Train Fantome still has stock of Lumi #44. Pin Up Girl Clothing is usually better known as a purveyor of 50s fashions, but look closely enough and you’ll find some excellent retro pieces from less expected styles. This fantastic Mod dress from EC Star is currently in their sale and has 60s style in spades.
