Its not difficult to pick up a retro style bins these days given the dominance of the chrome style by Brabantia, but the Artala Waste Baskets by Umbra are something a bit different.
Eschewing the current trend for sleek chrome minimalism, the exterior of these bins is heavily printed with a psychedelic graphic design. It is available in three options, red (pictured here), ocean blue (a more subtle colour scheme) or kiwi (a bright mix of greens with pink and black).
They are available to buy from Unicahome, priced just $18 (around £10).
In the 1950s 3-D was hailed as the future of cinema, but the initial enthusiasm for the medium was not sustained and these days it is very much seen as a gimmick or relic of the past.
